BMW M3 Gts |
Visually, little is different about this prototype to the regular M3.The oversized ‘GT’ style rear wing however suggests BMW is developing a special M3, one for privateer racing teams and track enthusiasts.Earlier this year, BMW and German racing outfit Schubert Motorsport revealed the BMW M3 GT4, with BMW M Division boss Kay Segler hinting that a production version could be in the works.A production track-ready M3 would not be a first for BMW: in the 1990s, the German carmaker offered the special M3 GT, a homologation-series special model that gave BMW the sales needed to enter E36 M3 in the FIA-GT class II racing series.
